Hey, what's up guys, Val the Wizard is here, he's back he's full of emotions, experience...bla bla bla... That is most difficult point in my entire life. I'd like to say something exciting, something interesting but I discovered that I am very shy to do that. Whatever, it is too late to give up so I want to start from... introducing myself. My name is Val, I am 50, ( bloody hell, life's gone so fast, time to start think about eternity, but somehow I am still playing different games, as a never grown child) and I am ready to start my new career again. Nearly from scratch. Ok, ok... I got some grounds in fine arts, but that was so long time ago, I can not even remember when I have done my last oil painting. I think it was this one
named "Frina on the Posseidon selebration in Elefsine"(not really sure about the wright translate). It was a replica to the famous work of russian painter Siemiradzky . Or probabily this one
named "The corsairs. I have done many u-turns during my long life, referring to work career, starting from my child dream to fly a supersonic aircraft, I have done successfully 3 years of 4 nearly finished my graduation in Kharkov High military aviation school, fled two types of fighters L-39 Albatros and Mig-21. But then suddenly I got thrown away from my dream. It was 1986, I just became father of a beautiful daughter, happy and none employed without money, without real skills in a huge city. And there was only one thing to do in a country near to collapse- to survive...
However, my life got many turns, as I don't want to bore anyone with it's full description, time to get straight to the point of my last toy. And this is CGI- computer graphics imagery.
After long years spent on providing building and decorating services, introducing design to my clients with pencil on paper, in 2007 I finally discovered the world of CG. I have found the tool I was struggling so long for. I became passionate to architectural computer replicas of future decorations. But in this world nothing comes so easy. even with grounds on perspective, color theory, lighting knowledge there were many difficulties in my way. After 7 years I can say that there are much more towards. This blog is not for very advanced professionals who have reached their level of satisfaction, but for people who like me learn small things day by day every day, improving step by step their own skills and continuing their way to perfection.
